Identified - We have received several reports of data roaming issues in Namibia. We suspect this to be related to the WACS cable break off the Namibian coast (https://mybroadband.co.za/news/broadband/597399-major-undersea-internet-cable-serving-south-africa-offline.html).

We expect local networks to start rerouting internet data traffic to alternative backup links.

Update - Vodacom General Network Issue:
We have received reports that Vodacom have experienced a general core network issue.
They experienced a power failure at a key data center resulting in wide spread network issues.
Traffic has been restored, however there is still instability and high latency.
We are also unable to process any recharges (airtime or data) at this time.
